Prize: The winner of the CEED Entrepreneur of the Year Award will receive a US$20,000 cash prize plus the opportunity to meet and spend the day with a distinguished entrepreneur from the CEED international network such as Jeff Hoffman, Founder of Priceline.com, and Seth Goldman, Founder and CEO of Honest Tea. Finalists from each CEED country will be recognized at the CEED Global Conference in Morocco.

Q1: Can I still apply for the CEED Entrepreneur of the Year Award?
A1: Yes, you can still apply. The application deadline has been extended to September 30, 2014.
Q2: Do I have to attend the CEED Global Annual Conference in Casablanca, Morocco to be eligible for the CEED Entrepreneur of the Year Award?
A2: Attendance to the CEED Global Annual Conference in Casablanca, Morocco is not mandatory. Applicants, who are unable to travel to Morocco in October 2014, may still apply for the CEED Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Nevertheless, we do encourage all CEED entrepreneurs to attend. The Annual Conference is a great opportunity to meet with and learn from your peers.
Q3: Will I be required to submit financial statements and other documentation as proof of my company’s revenues, number of employees, export revenues, and number of customers?
A3: Financial statements and other documentation will not be required at the time of application. However, CEED reserves the right to request for these reports especially in the event that CEED suspects or has reason to believe there is impropriety in the application. In this case, the application may be disqualified and/or, if selected as a winner, rescind the decision. In the case of the latter, CEED will require the winner to return the full amount of the financial award.
Q4: Can two persons from one company apply to the CEED Entrepreneur of the Year Award?
A4: Two persons from the same company may submit an application for the CEED Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Each application will undergo a separate review process and awarded separate scores.
Q5: Who can join the CEED Entrepreneur of the Year Award?
A5: All current CEED entrepreneurs and CEED alumni can submit an application. Companies must be established for more than three years when the application is submitted to be eligible. 2014 CEED CONTEST
RULES AND REGULATIONS
I. All current CEED entrepreneurs and CEED alumni are eligible to apply. Companies must be established for more than three years when the application is submitted to apply for this category.
II. Only one application per company can be submitted. A CEED entrepreneur or CEED alumni, who has or have more than one company, may submit an application for each company.
III. The CEED entrepreneur or CEED alumni must complete all required fields and answer all questions in the application form. Any incomplete field and/or answer may result in disqualification of the application.
IV. Application must be submitted on the specified deadline. Any applications submitted after the specified deadline will not be accepted.
V. CEED assumes that information provided by the CEED entrepreneur or CEED alumni is true and correct. If at any time during the competition CEED discovers impropriety, CEED reserves the right to disqualify the application and/or, if selected as a winner, rescind the decision. In the case of the latter, the CEED entrepreneur or CEED alumni agrees to return the full amount of the financial award.
VI. All submissions are considered final and cannot be modified.
VII. In accordance with U.S. and international Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Finance (CFT) standards, SEAF and its sister-organization CEED will verify identities and ensure that applicants are not listed on international sanctions or watch lists. SEAF and CEED will share the information collected with regulators only if suspicious activity is detected.
