February 27th 2014: Belgrade, Serbia
With over 150 attendees, CEED Serbia celebrated its official re-launch on February 27th, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Belgrade, Serbia. Participants represented a broad array of people and organizations involved in the Serbian entrepreneur eco-system including USAID, EBRD, state institutions, business angels, PE/ VC organizations, Association of Business Women in Serbia, CEED alumni, mentors, trainers, partners…..and more than 75 entrepreneurs.
Participants were introduced to CEED’s practical educational programs designed for busy entrepreneurs. All CEED programs are based on the peer to peer learning method, with an emphasis on interactive workshops and individual mentoring sessions with owners and managers of well established businesses and key experts in different fields. CEED-Serbia will be organizing local and regional B2B events and business conferences to connect Serbian entrepreneurs to CEED’s regional network of entrepreneurs, companies, mentors and investment professionals.
The next step for CEED Serbia is to recruit a new generation of entrepreneurs and mentors for programs in 2014, while continuing its mission to support the development of a solid entrepreneurial society in Serbia.
