On October 15, 2014 CEED Macedonia was recognized as a National Champion of the European Business Awards sponsored by RSM International, the seventh largest company in the world. The European Business Awards aim to recognize and reward quality, best practice and innovation in the business community in Europe. The prestigious competition supported by business leaders, academics, the media and political representatives included the participation of over 24,000 businesses from 33 European countries, of which 709 companies were declared national champions and move onto the next round of the competition.
CEED Macedonia plays an important role in supporting entrepreneurs and executives through a networking of mentors and successful entrepreneurs who provides entrepreneurs with advice and guidance, as well as know-how through its practical business solutions oriented programs. CEED is also forming an angel investing group to provide capital for growing companies and works closely with investors to understand their requirements in order to help entrepreneurs become investment ready.

A panel of judges will select an even smaller round of finalizes for the Ruban d’Honneur Award and one finalist will be selected from amongst all the awardees via a public voting process. Last year 93,000 people voted for the winner and the competition organizers hope to beat that number this year.
