Jim has been involved in software applications addressing the capital markets for the past 20 years and an early stage investor since 2005. As a member of the Sand Hill Angels, he as served as President, Treasurer and Board Director. Jim currently serves as a Board Director of the Angel Capital Association (ACA), Liftopia, First Focus Learning Systems, Tabtor, Startup Learning and KMVT Silicon Valley Community Media. Jim currently is the CEO of First Focus Learning Systems, and was the founder and CEO of SymPro, Inc., which was acquired by JP Morgan Chase in 2003, he served as the Division President until 2007. Jim maintains an investment interest in Education and the deployment of digital technology in education applications and curriculums for a variety of educational experience and demographic groups.
