After getting a Management Degree from Al Akhawayn University, Mohamed LOUKILI IDRISSI was ready to join his family-run company but decided instead to work for BNP-Paribas Bank for several years before joining Boomerang Communication in 2002. After learning the basics of the communication, he left Boomerang in 2008 and decided to start Com Par Magie, a direct and digital marketing agency. After leaving Boomerang several former clients decided to work with him via his new firm. His first clients were L’Oréal, LG and Sony and within a year, his company grew from 3 to 8 full time staff. The company became a multi-firm communication agency offering a global approach and more comprehensive solutions than a standard communication agency. Rapidly, Mohamed felt the urge to reposition his company to provide his customers with a broader set of services differentiating him from the local competitors.
Mohammed decided to join CEED Morocco in 2013 to get feedback and advice about his new strategy. CEED Morocco helped him narrow down his business model and provided feedback about how he should operationalize his strategy. He was paired with a mentor who advised him to redirect his strategy, to adopt a stronger business development process and suggested he engage his partners differently in order to grow the company. The company’s new target are growing SMEs that need help to expand abroad. Com Par Magie is now a member of 3A Worldwide, a global media buying and public relation company. Com Par Magie is the first African agency to join this network. 3A Worldwide gives Com Par Magie an international support network for its clients. CEED Morocco and CEED Global supported Com Pr Magie in this process.
“CEED is at first and foremost a group for networking. In the communications field, we always need to opportunities to connect. Through CEED, we not only learn but are on the front line of change and innovation.”
Mohamed is now a mentor for CEED Morocco and he is a part of the search committee for potential new members.
